A mostly-ok day; got in some good practicing (AKA showing off, since Scott was there and hadn't heard any of the new stuff). I was a little surprised to find my voice operational for once.

I was still feeling down and overwhelmed in the evening, though, and didn't get much of anything done. We crashed early.

Wishful, um... right

Normally I would have posted a "Wishful Wednesday" last week. I didn't. I did post about The Great Bedroom Makeover last Saturday. Well, it's still on for Saturday (and probably Sunday as well), starting around noonish.

I'll be making big pots of chili and rice, and probably some guacamole. I'm afraid it conflicts with Kanef's housefilk, but I really don't expect people to stay all evening.

Also, signal boost: pocketnaomi's friend jackien1968 is looking for a place to live in the East Bay.

Thankful Thursday

Oh. Right. Thursday. Today I am thankful for:

• a steady income (even though many things about the work I'm doing are changing out from under me)
• a happy, stable marriage
• my voice, which still works, at least when I'm able to breathe properly
• backups, and spare parts
