This morning's earthquake was brought to you by the California TeleTourism Board. TeleTourism: the next best thing to being there.

Ah, so that explains the recent earthquake in Lincolnshire at one o'clock in the morning. Someone phoned it through from California, and forgot to check the time difference, presumably...

Hell of a time of day for it. Probably saved lives since most commuters wouldn't be on the road yet, swerving scared.

5.2, jeez do we even get out of bed for anything less than a 5 anymore?

Anything less than 5 I can sleep through unless I'm right on top of it. But if you think we Californians are blasé about earthquakes, you should try the Japanese.

I suspect the early southern CA indians had the right idea about home construction - ya just weave a big basket upside down. If an earthquake knocks it over, just set it back up. :)

Bwahahaha! Now, they have not only tornadoes and floods, but we've exported an earthquake too.

Seriously, they're lucky it was only 5.2.

Hell, I don't even notice 3s or 4s.
