Done yesterday (20090717)

0717 Fr
  * up 7:15ish; W=192; drugs, nose; coffee, C; teeth; dishes
  * for the last few days I've been making about 2/3 my usual amount of coffee
  * Leftover Mexican for breakfast
  * 9:30ish: Colleen up. My morning routine seems to take about 2 hours.
=> clearing 45 minutes/day for meditation will be *hard*
morning is probably the only time when I won't be interrupted.
It would have to be *before* computer time, or after Colleen gets up.

  * short walk, to the pond and back
=> Kat forwarding immigration email; her lawyer's local so I can fill out
co-sponsor forms in person once I have the info.
~ Discuss w\ Colleen: send more $ to Kat?
-> Selkit should be able to send some
  * work: long, arduous day with weird bugs; there may be hardware problems
some problems, on the other hand, were clearly my fault and were fixed.
  * figure out how to rebuild a git index. reset --hard should do it
  * 10ish: snuggle for half an hour or so; go to sleep

Yesterday was marked by a long, tiring, and only somewhat productive day at work -- I'm going to try to catch up over the weekend. I did realize, rather belatedly, that many of the problems I'd been having with git came from the fact that you can't copy a working tree with its repository using rsync and expect it to work afterward: the index needs to be rebuilt with git reset --hard.

Spent some time thinking about time management, and wondering how I'll manage to clear some uninterrupted time for meditation. Something will have to go, probably.

OTOH, if I can stop hitting "refresh" on LJ quite so often...
