Felt like a pretty good day. Even a decent walk. I'm not sure how that explains the large number of links, though some of those were tab-clearing as I sat in the living room after most of the Wednesday crowd had left.

Finally figured out what's wrong with my Jawbone headset. I've known for some time that my ear structure won't support it without some kind of loop over the ear. I realized yesterday that the reason it keeps popping out even with the over-the-ear loop they provide is that the loop is too small, so it lifts the thing up out of my ear canal and leaves it dangling.

This led me to investigate wire sculpture supplies, at Wire-Sculpture.com and The Ring Lord.

Good article on What we can learn from procrastination at The New Yorker, and This is what depression looks like at Honey and Ollie. Other links under the cut. I really want to check out resty, a shell alias based REST client.

The Honey and Ollie article is excellent (speaking as a severe depressive myself). Sometimes it's amazing how so many people simply don't get it.

Even my MiL, who gets depressed herself, does not understand all that bipolar depression does to me or my son, or what we can actually do about the depression we're in. My husband burnt out on trying to help/fix me, and the future is uncertain.

One thing that IS certain, that my son knows how I feel when I'm depressed, and I him. My role is to model handling my moods and my meds so that he thinks that it's commonplace.

Thank you for the HollieandOllie essay pointer. I've posted my response to it.
