I use Safari as my primary browser on the Mac, and while it does a good job, the switch away from WebExtensions has given me a few headaches. I've had to retool my security and privacy setup to tackle tracking at the network level, which by and large is working and has the added benefit of working across all browsers and indeed all apps.
The update to Safari 13 did knock out the Wayback Machine extension, but I've gotten a bookmarklet for those occasions now.
I've got Firefox installed as a backup browser, as well as Vivaldi (Chromium-based) for those sites that may have trouble with Firefox or Safari.
The bigger headache, though, is macOS Catalina, which is going to nix all 32-bit software and hamper other software that is 64-bit but still has some 32-bit components. It'll also stop my old printer from working due to increased security requirements for kernel extensions, but then Canon stopped supporting this model on Mac back in 2013, and it's showing signs of age now, so an upgrade to a newer AirPrint-supporting model is probably on the cards.
As for software, most of the stuff I use is OK but I may need to create a virtual machine running my current version of macOS so I can play some games that won't work under Catalina.
