Thankful Thursday

Today I am grateful for...

• Storage batteries.
• LEDs.
• Roadside Assist.
• Our gas stove. (Not including the oven, alas!)
• Warm things to wear, warm(ish) blankets, and snuggly cats. (But why couldn't they snuggle under the covers, where we could keep each other warm?)
• Puget Sound Energy, restoring power two days before their initial estimate.
• Methocarbamol.
• Wire transfers.
• Not having to wrestle with my gasoline-powered generator.
• Our kitchen hood fan, when it has power.

Thanks! So are we, obviously. I keep finding ways in which our preparation has been inadequate, but we didn't run out of lights or water this time, so that's something.
