Today I am grateful for...

Not living in Seattle. I was going to say "San Jose", but Seattle was hotter last weekend.
A working freezer. Frozzles (frozen water bottles). Frowels (frozen dish-towels).
The air conditioner that arrived yesterday. We'll be ready for the next heat wave -- there's no doubt it will happen.
The portable lift acquired last Friday; hopefully having it in the house will mean that we won't be needing it.
