Am I the only organized person in my family?
About 20 minutes after leaving for school, the young one comes riding back into the driveway -- the bright orange jacket makes her easy to spot, which of course was the whole idea. Seems she'd forgotten the key to her bike lock. Again.
Last week it was the lock, which eventually turned up in her backpack after all, but in a compartment she hadn't looked in. Oh, and her shoes.
She comes by it honestly, too; I have no idea how many times I've gone looking for my wife's keys, or her shoes...
Am I the only one who always keeps stuff in its place so I know where to find it when I need it? Who always hangs their purse on the same hook when they get home? (We will gloss over the stack of unanswered mail and unread magazines for the moment -- at least I always sort through it and put the bills and other urgent stuff on their own stack, and I usually get around to paying them on time... The desk top is a place, after all.)
