Anniversary

As of right about now, Colleen and I will have been married for 33 years. This is our first anniversary apart, and hopefully the last.

We're having our party nonetheless. Come on over. Stop by Kaiser on the way to congratulate the Cat.

I hope that, 33 years from now, we'll be in a motel on whatever's left of the old Route 66, partying our brains out.

My husband and I will be celebrating 36 years this June. Given the state of the economy, and the state of our own finances, we might be able to manage Chinese take-out for dinner that night, unless our son and his wife have a better idea. Neither do I, actually, but it seems appropriate. If we've been uploaded at that point I'll build a proper simulation and have the party there.
