Working offline

This article by Don Marti includes a useful list of tools for working offline -- without a net connection.

It's not just for working on airplanes -- we've all been in hotels with flaky or expensive connections. And it ties right in to what I've been saying about owning your own content.

Been looking for something like Unison for a long, long time. Any experience with it?

Looked at it pretty seriously, but haven't used it. It requires a fair amount of setup; if you can get by with just rsync you're better off. But there's no reason why it shouldn't do the job if you need two-way sync.
