...is skipping. They only seem to last a year or two; probably has
something to do with dust. I'll go out and get a cleaning kit, but I
don't expect it to help a whole lot.
That's often true, but in this case it seems to be skipping on all disks, and cleaning the disks doesn't help. (Of course, we don't take very good care of our disks; it could be that they're badly scratched.)
