A good day. Any day that starts out with thunder, and my lowest weight in months, and ends with singing and snuggle, has to be pretty good.
Hardly any walking, since it was raining. And not a whole lot of work, though I filled in some gaps by working from home in the evening. A little shopping, and a little system administration work involving portable drives and backing up my home user on the work laptop. (The idea being to leave no personal information there.)
I found it interesting to realize how quickly any flat surface in the office gets taken over by stacks of mail and assorted debris. Grumph.

Date: 2010-01-19 05:45 pm (UTC)I have this same problem. I try not to allow myself to add to the pile...however my Boyz (hubby and son) don't seem to understand that it's a necessary thing to sort into Need, Don't Need and Must Act Now piles.
Once a month I try to tame the paper tiger, I am trying to do it once a week, but it seldom happens that often. Grumph!

Date: 2010-01-21 04:22 am (UTC)One thing I did find helps, have 3 boxes/baskets to hand, one labeled Read, another labeled Pay and the other labeled Recycle. It works to a point to keep the piles o'paper down for me.
