Sales taxes filed, six songs formatted for the Tempered Glass songbook, a little singing practice, a good chunk of code written at work, ... ok, it's been a pretty productive week. And I'm more-or-less over my cold or whatever it was, and we're heading up to Seattle for Conflikt tomorrow evening.
So why do I still feel like I'm not getting very much done?
Maybe it's just that there's so much to do. Maybe it's that I seem to need more sleep than I used to. Maybe I just miss being depressed, and haven't found something to fill the hole (or was it just a shallow depression?) with.
Maybe it's because I spent most of the weekend and the first half of this week feeling like I had a lobster clamped onto my nose. Anoxia does bad things to your brain, they say.
Best quote of the week, from iGoogle: "When I do good, I feel good; when I do bad, I feel bad, and that is my religion." - Abraham Lincoln
Links, as usual, under the cut. Charity Navigator is worth checking out if you want to verify the financial soundness and efficiency of an organization you're thinking of sending money too. It's not the whole story -- go to Wikipedia et. al. for info on things like political associations -- but it seems to be good information.
