Fun! ! Laughed a couple of times, smiled a lot. And stayed out in the LR through almost all of it. Must have been enjoying it, though it didn't quite register at the time. * load drugs * head for bed 11:15
Again, not a very productive day; I suppose I could blame it on a slow recovery from the last two weeks, rather than simple laziness and lack of clear direction. Or I could blame it on half the day being taken up with meetings. I have a couple of coworkers... A month before the product announcement is not the time to start questioning fundamental design decisions, or to be unclear on how basic aspects of the system are intended to work. I partly blame myself for having difficulty communicating my original design, but... sheesh! Everybody else I talk to seems to get it. How many times do I have to go over it?
Wednesday evening was even more lightly attended than usual, although we did finally get a few more people in the late evening. They were all gone by 11, whereupon we went splat. I have been getting very sleepy after 9pm, and often have trouble staying up past 10:30. Not fun. John brought over his copy of the Austin Lounge Lizards' 30th anniversary concert DVD. Great fun. I actually stayed out in the living room and listened to almost all of it.
As usual, I only noticed that I'd been enjoying it after the fact. "I was laughing, so it must have made me happy." That kind of thing. *sigh*
Not many links; haikujaguar points to a couple of good articles for writers (Ten Secrets of Professional Book Cover Designers probably applies to album covers and websites as well), and cflute points to Minnesota farmer battles Gulf 'dead zone'.
