Thankful Thursday

On the day, for the second week in a row. It's not much, but I'll take what I can get. Today I'm thankful for...

• Colleen, and her having the strength, coordination, and sheer guts to start walking with a cane.
• Chamois, or Chami as she wants me to spell it now.
• The original chamois in my life, my sister of choice pocketnaomi.
• Large-curd cottage cheese, which is especially good with a packet of crushed red pepper left over from Wednesday's pizza.
• Cold, dead fish.
• A mention in the Pegasus brainstorming poll.
• An interesting and reasonably well-paying job.
• Water. Also wine and gin, but water isn't just for drinking.

Chami, I think the spelling you chose suits you perfectly. It's so smooth and clean and modern. I keep the old-fashioned version because I'm a bit baroque by nature, so it fits me, but I thought yours was beautiful the second I saw it.
