Pretty decent week; no real disasters, a couple of stress/overload events and a few worries, but on the whole... I'm setting my mood to an unqualified "okay", which is a bit unusual. It's the second time I've used it this month, but the time before that was over a year ago. (There have been a couple of "happy"s in weeks when Colleen was discharged from whatever she was in.)

The last time she was hospitalized was a month and a half ago. She had her first visit by a Home Health occupational therapist this week.

Technical aside: I also spent some time yesterday making C's hospital and rehab admissions, transfers, and discharges easy to find with grep. The relevant command is
git grep -n '[0-9])[ADT]'

I ordered a couple of 2TB hard drives to replace the drives on the server -- the main one is pretty old, and the backup is too small. They have gotten insanely cheap. I also looked at laptops again. Some more? As usual? I'm still waffling.

I think I've been spending too much time on 7Cups. The original idea was just to get therapy, but I've gotten sucked into the forums. I'm not getting all that much therapy, either; that probably warrants some discussion. Also, their UX sucks. Web forums usually suck, actually.

this is somewhat encouraging. More links under the notes for Thursday.

That link about the strike is a good idea but I think a lot of parents won't.
