COVID-19: Episode 8: Randomness
2020-04-07 12:43 pmIt has been just over a month since my COVID-19: Episode 1 post; my first use of the covid-19 tag was on March 1st. That was basically the point at which my main worries stopped being centered around climate change and started being centered around COVID-19.
My main worries these days have been less about whether I'm going to live through the next few months -- Washington seems to be better prepared than most states -- and more about whether we're going to end up with a country that I can stand to live in. Or, given how much I depend on Medicare and Social Security, can live in. It's frightening and depressing.
And that's before going back to worrying about the planet.
Yesterday, when I started thinking about what to say in this post, I seem to remember having some idea of where I wanted to go. Some kind of advice, I think. But I lost the thread, and I think one of the cats is playing with it now. Take care.
