mdlbearToday I am grateful for...
- Not being affected by this morning's ferry crash. (It was at the West Seattle end of the route that services Vashon Island. As of late this afternoon, service on that route has been restored.)
- Being on Whidbey Island, about 10°F cooler than Seattle, during the current heat wave.
- My daughter E, who came up to the island for a few days to help me sort through some of Colleen's Stuff, taking about 8 boxes worth back with her. Mostly the sewing corner and jewelry cabinet, but also some books.
- Molly's new (thanks to recall) battery. Between being new, having an extra 5 kWh, and not having to run the heater, I'm getting over 4mi/kWh = 260mi/charge.
- Filk music videos on YouTube.
No thanks to the lazy person who neglected our yard to the point where it's going to be a major expense to fix. That would be me, obviously.
