Thankful Thursday

It's been a weird week. Tuesday I spent all day thinking my anniversary (January 3rd) was Wednesday. This morning I got up thinking it was Friday. Anyway, it appears to be (thankful) Thursday now.

Today I am grateful for...

• Detailed hardware maintenance manuals for the laptops and phones that I occasionally try to repair. Also, parts on eBay. NO thanks for screws that fail to line up when I try to replace them. I can at least test it without them.
• Related to the above: Thinkpads. The X230 in particular.
• Magnetic thingies that I can fidget with.
• Avoiding injury in a couple of close calls. NO thanks to not paying attention and general clumsiness.
• The worst of the recent weather being someplace where I'm not.
