This week I had less sleep than usual, my teeth cleaned, a referral to an endodontist for a possible root canal or worse, several short but alarming bouts of TMJ pain, several exhausting phone conversations (where I managed to stay reasonably calm, so that's something), something in my left eye that evolved into a scratched cornea, a prescription for erythromycin ophthtalmic ointment, and, on the whole, not a particularly good week. I didn't get to Conflikt (held online), either, out of my usual inertia.

It occurs to me that I might also have had (and am probably still having) a major depressive episode. It doesn't help that antibiotic resistance [appears to be] induced by the widespread use of antidepressants.

I have not been getting very much done.

I seem to be in the middle of a particularly awful nightmare. I'd like to wake up now.

I'm sorry, Steve. That reeks.

I don't have any root canal horror stories. I've had a whole slew of root canals with crowns, and none were awful. None. Not bad at all. I'd had fillings in the past that were worse.
