Thankful... well, okay, Friday

Today I am grateful for...

• Transgender Day of Visibility | GLAAD
• A code vulnerability giving me a good excuse -- not to mention a strong incentive -- for switching to a new theme on GoingSideways.blog. (The necessary overhaul isn't quite complete, but it's usable.) (The vulnerability was automagically "fixed" by simply deleting the theme and switching to the most-recently-added one, which is the one I've been hacking on.)
• Leftovers for breakfast.
• Texas Observer Will Remain Open!
• Cat cuddles when I can't get back to sleep.

A purring cat is a definite sleep aide for me.

As long as they don't decide that they want to be on the other side of the bed for some reason, and get there by walking straight across.

We're frequently stomped on by cats. Achilles is pretty heavy, too. He's not fat at all, just muscular from all the running, jumping, and climbing he does.

Cat cuddles are soothing.
