Wet and Wild

We're catching the tail end of a typhoon here. Both Colleen and I have been out running errands in it -- it took me about 40 minutes to make a trip that normally takes me 10, between slow traffic, accidents, blacked-out traffic lights, and unexpected roadwork.

When I got home I poured us each a stiff glass of gin. Good evening for staying at home where it's nice and cozy. Wild weather is great to watch.

Not the most spectacular show we've seen here, not by a long shot. Bright flashes, 1-2 miles away, but no visible bolts.
