Idiots!

The phone tech never did show up. Evidently they tested the lines, discovered that they were working, and cancelled the trouble ticket -- there is now no record of its existance.

That, of course, means that we'll be going through the same stupid thing next time it rains.

The Dickens

The Great Dickens Cristmas Fair, actually. The four of us went up, plus chaoswolf's GF Mayhem, on the last possible day of the Fair (which was about the only day during its four-weekend run that we all had free).

Quite pleasant; it seemed a little happier this year than last. Also, Colleen was better able to walk this year. I bought a lovely pewter rose for her.
