Had fun at Baycon
2003-05-26 07:14 pmA very pleasant con -- I was busy (four panels plus a concert) but happily so. Got to some other good panels plus the LJ BOF (which was in a room of reasonable size, unlike last year). Missed the Masquerade, as usual, and my concert was scheduled against the last half of the Meet-the-guests reception.
The filk circles were awesome -- good voices, big enough room, a comparatively small number of people (more than 25 or so and it starts getting too crowded). I went to bed at 3:00 last night -- could have stayed another hour, but I knew that I'd have to get the kids to school tomorrow morning and didn't want to push my luck.

flower_cat's liason work over the last six months or so. She and her assistant roaringmouse parked outside the Coffee Garden, made occasional inspection trips, and ran an exit poll.
chaoswolf worked for the Info Desk, and spent most of her spare time boffing. Acquired a nice black eye in the process, plus a boffer trout, which she named "Kilgore". School reading lists are good for something, I guess.
So now I'm back at home, since I had to get Emmy some dinner and make sure she got in a bath and some studying before bedtime.
