Emmy update

chaoswolf noted, I dismantled Emmy's old desk last night to make room for the new one we ordered over the weekend -- it's supposed to arrive today. Not clear how much finishing I'm going to have to do.
I also discovered that the problem I was having with MozillaFirebird on her new computer were due to the old kernel shipped with RedHat 7.3; a simple update and reboot, and it works like a charm. Amazing how much difference an improved virtual memory system can make.
