Good party yesterday

Good food, good beer, good conversations. The Smithfield ham, our usual present from my brother (who lives in Virginia), came out about 6:00; we consumed about half of it by the time everyone left around 2am. Two people from work (not quite a record, but unusual nevertheless).

LJ users in attendance included finagler, johno, chriso, jilara, mira_fastfire, texxgadget, chipuni, and no doubt a few whose usernames I don't know.

Not as big a crowd as usual; the fact that SCA Twelfth Night was going on at the same time didn't help. flower_cat, chaoswolf, Mayhem, and Phil went there for lunch. We did get a good number of time-travellers later on, but several of the regulars were no doubt too busy in the Current Middle Ages to attend.

Sigh... It'll be a decade or two before the combination of CPU power and virtual-character animation gets to the point where we fans can put together a better version.
