1. Who do you call first?

2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?
Well, after paying off the house and the credit cards, ... Probably a pair of AKG 414 microphones and one of the new Martin 00-15 re-issues with a built-in pickup and an airline-rated case. OK, that's three things.
3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?
flower_cat's been eyeing a really nice set of Damascene steel knives... I don't think Honda has a hybrid mini-van yet, or that would probably come first.
4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?
Probably quite a bit -- Carleton College, the EFF, and the ACLU for starters.
5. Do you invest any?
Most of it. College fund for the younger kid, the equivalent for the older one, and the rest into a mix of mutual funds.
