The Weekend

chaoswolf's long-distance gf asahoshi (Anarchy) arrived from WA, after which flower_cat and I went to the Summer Bash at Chaos Castle. Most of the usual suspects were there, and I was "persuaded" to do some singing, which brought in Kanef, a few others, and eventually, Kathy. I wanted to leave about 10:30; as usual it was past 11 when we finally did. I try to leave early enough to not fall asleep on the drive home; as it was I was dangerously sleepy.
Sunday we went to the SF Zoo. A pretty good time was had by all, though the Cat sat out the hill going up to the feline conservation center, and the YD got bored and started whining toward the end. While looking at the fishing cats the conversation naturally turned to sushi, and it turned out that Anarchy had never had nigiri. That, of course, settled the question of what was for dinner; we went to Kobe, our usual.
