The main fileserver is now up and running on Debian Sarge. There are still a few loose ends (including SpamAssassin), but the mail is getting through and the main internal website is cobbled together. So the functions that the household members rely on will work OK for them.

Off to see the Lamplighters production of The Mikado this afternoon.
