A good day not to have watched TV
2004-09-11 11:37 pm... or listened to radio, either, for the most part.
As I expected, 9/11 has become little more than an excuse for political grandstanding, for further attacks on the Bill of Rights, and for an ongoing crusade that serves only to make the US even more despised and hated in the rest of the world than it was when the towers fell.
The road from the Twin Towers to Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib has been extraordinarily short.
