2004-10-21 08:12 amLast night being Wednesday, I didn't get a whole lot done on VoIP (or recording, for that matter), beyond getting nagged at by the
chaoswolf. I did, however, sign up with VoicePulse and FreeWorldDialup. The latter has a particularly stupid nav-bar implemented in flash -- the only way I was able to get around on the site was to find the site-map link, in tiny type on the bottom of each page.
VoicePulse is a "wholesale" VoIP-to-PSTN provider that supports Asterisk's IAX protocol and has a flat $.029/minute rate. Their site was easy.
I also spent some time yesterday designing the makefiles and directory layout that will let me put my * config files under CVS control and make them easy to work on. This is something I'll be putting on the web in a week or two.
