Bob Moog didn't invent the synthesizer, as far as I know, (that honor arguably belongs to whoever invented the pipe organ with stops) but he had a tremendous amount to do with its modern development. I vividly remember the sound of "Switched On Bach", played by Walter (later Wendy) Carlos on a custom Moog synthesizer. He'll be missed.

This is sick Sick, I tell you. What I tell you three times is true. Really sick. Don't have anything in your mouth when you're reading it.

I finally have the sheet music (well, a digital photo of the sheet music) and a couple of oggs for "Demon Lover" up on the web, along with a little text. I also put up the ogg for "Silk and Steel".

None of the oggs are anywhere close to production quality -- in fact, they're pretty bad -- but they should be good enough for someone (Hi, [livejournal.com profile] cflute!) who wanted to learn them to sing along with.
