My new backup script seems to be working -- about 8 minutes to mirror a day's changes in over 100GB of files. Still needs to be parametrized, then I'll write it up and put it up on my website. And I really need to move the Debian mirror to a larger disk on the gateway; it's occupying 70GB that I'm going to be needing soon.
Took me all day to realize it, but I suspect I have some kind of a cold.
With a bit of what could easily become laryngitis -- I am not
happy about this, with a concert coming up in less than two weeks. The
Bear is going to bed early tonight, after consuming another cup of ginger

flower_cat came up with -- it's just a
couple of thin slices of fresh ginger in a cup of hot water. Fantastic
for your throat.)
