Hmm. Mostly OK, I guess, though I ended the day (and am starting this one) with pretty bad muscle pain around the back of my right shoulder. What's with that? Hope it's not the new shoulder bag.

The big news is that Colleen used a cane to get from her chair to her scooter, instead of the walker, and practiced with it during her PT appointment. Which looks like her last for now. The PT said she can use the cane as long as she isn't too tired.

I went to REI at lunchtime and bought a "mini" shoulder bag, in "midnight plum". Her name appears to be Minnie. She's very comfortable, and capable of holding a full-sized clipboard (though I suspect not as comfortably). It's hard to see in the picture, but there's a Y-shaped section of the strap where it joins the top of the bag; the hole fits nicely over the handle of my rolling backpack, and Minnie snuggles over Chami's front, her strap goes around the back, and they fit together perfectly.

Picture here. Don't they just look made for each other?

Chamois told me that she wants me to spell her name "Chami". Yes, I have Lesbian luggage, and some of it talks to me. Cue obligatory Diskworld reference, and deal. ;)

Our date nights have been getting fairly expensive, so we're staying home more. I asked for fish, since I knew Colleen was going out shopping this afternoon, and she came home with a pound of ahi tuna, a couple asian pears, pecans, pear vinegar and pecan oil, and two stuffed portobello mushrooms. The 'shrooms weren't very good -- we'll make our own from now on, thanks -- but the pear salad and the sashimi were excellent.

A few links up in the notes.
