Not a bad day, just nothing terribly interesting. My walk took me through the DeAnza community college campus, which was full of construction projects instead of students. Found a nice little footpath along the Hwy 85 fence; shady, but of course very noisy.

A little music - practiced the new chords, and chorded out (i.e. put in chords for every verse, not just the first) another song.

Met a few new people at work, and started picking up on names. Also emptied another box, and started researching the (open source) software I'll need going forward. Another long afternoon meeting.

Thankful Thursday

So... today I'm thankful for:

• Whimsy and sensible nonsense.
• People who aren't afraid to whap me upside the head when I'm being an idiot.
• Wonderful coworkers, old and new.
• Finally being back in (R&D, and an office with a door).
• Diets that help with chronic diseases, even if they mostly suck.
• Snuggle.
