Done Since 2020-06-21

This week has mostly been a disaster. Plumbing trouble -- the back toilet has apparently been leaking under the flooring for weeks, and more likely months. Housemate trouble, and that's probably all I should say about it. Colleen is on antibiotics for a boil or some other kind of sore that got infected. That's been going on for weeks, too.

I note in passing an observation I made a week ago: whenever someone tells me "it's okay" -- usually after I make some kind of mistake, or when something has gone very wrong -- my inevitable reaction is "no it's not!" I finally figured out (did it really take me this long? probably) that what it means is that I'm not okay. The fact that they can brush off whatever it was doesn't mean that I can.

I'm not okay.
