Done Since 2021-03-21

Rather a busy week, although very few of the things I did involved writing, and none involved taxes, singing, or exercise. (I may be on the way to changing that; stay tuned.) The only music to speak of was the Lamplighters' streamed recording of HMS Pinafore last Sunday. As for how I "feel" about the week, ??? ... but notice that "feel" is in quotes, and Mood: is given as "unknown".

About moods: my posting software doesn't use any of the DW's standard mood icons, in part because I never bothered figuring it out, so the mood field ends up being basically free-form. I try not to think too much about mood; usually what I put down is the first word that pops into my head. Which is where today's mood came from.

There's a high wind advisory in effect until around midnight. They've done quite a lot of tree-trimming since the last one, so a power outage is somewhat less likely. We'll see. I'm a little bit better-prepared this time, having ordered a more batteries. That includes a rather hefty LiIon battery that's mainly for jump-starting cars, but includes cigarette lighter and USB connectors as well. I really ought to get an inverter as well. For now the UPSs should be enough.

I had some dental work done on Monday, and Colleen got her second dose of Pfizer vaccine Thursday. That leaves S as the only resident who hasn't had their second dose -- she's scheduled for a week from yesterday. So we can all expect to be fully vaccinated in about three weeks.

I've been sorting through the stuff we got from Mom's apartment; I've identified the boxes that contain all of E's and my cousin Mark's stuff; R's stuff shares some box space with mine, so that's going to take more digging. One problem with that is that we have noplace to put most of it. That goes for much of the stuff we moved in with, too. Growf.
