Done Since 2021-05-16
2021-05-23 07:31 pmIt's been a good week for rabbits. I mean, rabbit holes. I mean,... What's a Mandelbear to do when his Cheshire Cat is missing? Chase rabbits. Figurative rabbits, because a mandelbear is a mathematical figure. Or something like that. This post is going to be rather disjointed. Don't expect it to make sense.
The week's main rabbit hole was Cats. (It's possible that this week's will be fountain pens.) Colleen is in rehab -- she transferred from UW to Regency Coupeville on Monday.
"Kid, have you rehabilitated yourself?" No. Being in rehab is not good for Colleen, especially since Regency's restrictive visiting policy means that she spends almost all of her time alone. Phone calls only go so far. She refuses to use Zoom; no idea why. There will be a care conference tomorrow, and hopefully we'll be able to set a discharge target day very soon.
The other thing that happened around here last week is that the concrete walkway from the foot of the ramp to the side of the car is finally in, so Colleen will have an easier time making car transfers. And I turned in a draft of $writing_project, but haven't heard back. I don't think I did a very good job of it, to be honest, and I took way too long.
