mdlbearDid a little shopping; bought some inkjet-printable CD-R's, a replacement for the Leatherman Wave that vanished mysteriously several months ago, and a very nice Ryobi 18v drill kit on sale at Home Depot for $99. The batteries on my old drill are dying (one is already dead); no surprise since they're some 12 years old by now. Since they're $35 each, a new kit with a bigger drill, a flashlight, and two new batteries for only $40 more is pretty reasonable. flower_cat wanted me to get for my birthday.
Took the family out to dinner (Mexican, sort of a belated birthday dinner for theflower_cat). Went for a short drive afterward.
Finished the tax data entry, except for the Amex summary which I still have to download and print, and possibly a few receipts lurking in the pile to the left of the monitor.
