Concerning vampires

Gave blood last night; still working on my 9th gallon. They've changed the procedure yet again, and not IMHO for the better -- now they read you the questions instead of letting you read and answer them yourself. This takes longer (even though the poor young lady stuck with the job was talking as fast as she possibly could), and is much more stressful. I can read quite well, thank you, but my hearing is not particularly good.

In other news, flower_cat needs no more tests; she'll be talking with a surgeon next week about correcting her hernia and any related problems they find.
