Earth Day

I remember the first US Earth Day, in 1970. (According to Wikipedia, most of the rest of the world celebrates it more sensibly on the Vernal Equinox.) I was still in grad school at the time. It's on days like this that I'm happy to be working for a company that gives a damn about the environment and corporate social responsibility.
