Good morning!

I'm sitting at cflute's dining table leeching off an obliging neighbor's open wireless and Comcast link. Fast as a bat. (We know it's Comcast because it was pointing to their setup page most of yesterday afternoon.) Just made a pot of coffee. Somehow I managed to misread my watch (it was dark) and must have gotten up at about 6:20 thinking it was 7:30. That's OK; I'll be back in my own bed tonight, with my own flower_cat.

Had a good chat yesterday afternoon with technoshaman (he picked me up at the hotel around 3pm), followed by a delightful dinner of grilled salmon, asparagus, and fruit salad, followed by much music. Let's see if I can remember...

I'm looking forward to the Lamplighters production of Ruddygore tomorrow.

Did you know I was in a show with the Lamplighters years ago (spring of 1981)? Yoeman of the Guard. Glad to know the group is still going, still putting on G&S shows. There's a G&S Society here in Fredericton, but they had to start alternating G&S shows with musical theatre like Fiddler on the Roof and Guys and Dolls, because there isn't enough of an audience to do only G&S shows year after year.

We probably saw you, then; we've been season ticket holders for years. Lamplighters usually do two G&S shows and one other these days.

Lately even the Lamplighters are doing more outside the G&S repertoire; they're doing Merry Widow and Carousel this year in addition to Ryddygore.

Colleen remembered that performance, when I mentioned it to her. She's flower_cat, by the way. Hardly ever posts, but reads her friends list (as well as mine and older daughter chaoswolf's) diligently.
