...but my younger daughter is simply infuriating. Try to tell her anything, like how to study for the second run of the state capitals test that she flunked miserably today, and she goes into a totally over-the-top 'dumb blonde' routine.

At least it's not one of the six-hour tantrums her sister used to throw -- at least she's grown out of them by now.

Steve, is it possible that Emmy is doing this as an attention getter? I know that my brother would do this especially when I was being held up as an exemplary student. Another reason some kids don't take tests well. They do fine in school but when it comes to time tests, they blank. Morgan has this problem sometimes. We have to prepare her for testing because she does have short-term memory loss. This can be tested for through of all places... Child Developement centers in most major hospitals. Yes, hospitals... I hope this works. I understand
