Made a dump CD for the car today and only noticed minor problems (all relative levels) on 4 songs. "Daddy's World" is already fixed; I'll probably get to the others tonight. There are still four others that need a little more work. Tomorrow and Saturday. But it's definitely converging.

Joyce came over yesterday to practice for our Baycon concert, which is now almost exactly a month away. The set list is still pretty fluid, so now's the time to make suggestions. (Waves at [livejournal.com profile] cflute.) We had a couple of requests from the household -- it was Wednesday, after all. "Cap and Bells" is looking like a good candidate for inclusion.

So here are Wednesday's songs as I remember them, in no particular order:

* House Carpenter
* Demon Lover
* The Owl and the Pussycat -- There are three of us -- I wonder how close we could get to Oak, Ash, and Thorn's three-part arrangement...
* Silk and Steel -- we tried this with Joyce singing lead and me just playing guitar. It worked.
* The Cap and Bells -- request from [livejournal.com profile] victorthecook, but I think it's a keeper for the set.
* The Mushroom Song
* Bugs -- request from the kids.
* Bound For Hackers' Heaven -- Worked well; it's in. Besides, it's on About Bleeding Time and will be on Hackers' Heaven eventually.
* Cicero in the Twenty First Century
* TEOTWAWKI v2.0
* Vampire Mega-Byte
* The Rambling Silver Rose

... 12 songs, adding up to about 45 minutes. Add "High Barratry", "World Inside the Crystal", and "Ship of Stone" and you're up over 50. Still, there's room for one more, and there are still some we could drop in favor of other stuff. Suggestions?
