Free [strike]puppy[/strike] monitor

Free to a good home: 17" Hitachi SuperScan Elite 630 CRT monitor. Will out-perform any 17" LCD on the market. Can also be used as a doorstop, hurricane-rated paperweight, or small-room space heater.

On display at Grand Central Starport until Saturday, when it gets dragged off to be recycled. Mention this ad and I'll throw in a free CD.

Uhm, what CD.

My monitor just died last week, it was whining and we got rid of it at a free recycle thing at oakridge. If this is an actual functioning monitor, I'll take it off your hands. For graphics work, CRTs are so much better :S

It's working fine as far as I can tell; just bulky and power-hungry; I retired it because I had a 17" LCD to replace it with.

You could stop by the Starport tomorrow to pick it up, or reply with a suggestion. I think we'll be home most of the weekend, but it's always best to make arrangements first.

I'll try and swing by, although there's a dinner group also meeting tomorrow night I'll be trying to get to. Otherwise we'll have to wing it for some other day. :)

Heh! I'm afraid I've been saturating the local market for those CDs; can I offer you an Ubuntu or Debian install disk?

Thursday or Friday evening would work, too. Best to call to make sure we're not going out for dinner.
