Just back from the Les Barker reading at the Espresso Garden. He's a British poet, parodist, humorist, songwriter, and all-around strange person. We bought all six of the CDs he had available. I'd heard several of his poems recited at filks by others; this is the first time I've heard him in person. Not the last.

Once again there were two other people from work there (hi, rowanf), plus a couple of filkers we know (but whose LJ usernames, if any, I'm too lazy to look up). This is getting to be a habit.
