Just spoke to mdlbear: She will not be coming home for the holiday --- there was a drastic miscommunication which he is still very grumpy about. It is most likely they will be releasing her from the hospital Monday and placing her instead in a skilled nursing home somewhere nearby. She will be released from the nursing home when she feels safe being at home for entire days on end.
