Another Santana Row restaurant

Amber India. Northern Indian cuisine; they have a lunch buffet that cost flower_cat and me $18/person before tip. That included a cup of excellent masala chai each; drinks aren't included in the buffet.

Very tasty; mild-to-medium hot. A somewhat different mix of dishes than I've seen at other Indian places, though I haven't been to enough of them to know what the full range is. The rice had green olives in it.

That seems a bit pricey, but it is Santana Row. I've gone to the Amber India on El Camino (Mountain View) on several occasions over the years and have found their food to be consistently good and interesting.
