  & puttering, mostly sewing room and living room
  * buy Colleen a chocolate bar (?Green&Black 75%) and coke
  & Colleen.  Wheeled her around a little.
  * walk: Los Gatos Creek to Campbell Ave.
    ! calm; contented
  & Call from Colleen: stood up on her own; 45 seconds.
  & Guitar Showcase: looked at PA systems.
    ~600 for a 6-channel Fender; maybe powered speaker+mixer for now.
  & Colleen.
    brief visit; gave her a lovely purple glass nailfile and a nail clipper
  = Lucky's in El Paseo has spelt matzoh, but there's gluten in spelt.
  * tax data entry started
  & replied to a series of text msgs from Kat
    only the second time I've sent a text msg; third time I've received one.
    ! somewhat annoyed at the cell phone's UI.  Dubiously accomplished.
  * 17:01 checkbook data entered.  Break for dinner.

     add a splash of whipping cream at the end.)

It was a pretty good day. I guess my major accomplishment was sending multiple text messages on my phone, in response to a series started by a traveling chaoswolf. I suppose, now that we have unlimited text messaging, I'm going to have to get used to that, too. With my coworkers using Twitter, can that be far behind? Help! I'm being dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st Century!

It didn't hurt that Colleen stood up without assistance (in the parallel bars) and stayed standing for 45 seconds. That's huge progress. She also did 8 chair-pushups, and she's getting quite good at wheeling around, though she still likes me to push her when I'm around. That's ok; I like it too.

I've also started on the taxes; I have the checkbook data entered, and expect to have the receipts sorted, if not entered, today.

I can still improvise a tasty dinner from scratch. Go me! The YD pronounced it "edible", which is praise coming from her.

I can haz cflute and pocketnaomi this afternoon?!
