Free to a good home: an HP Laserjet 4 printer. It was in good working order when I took it out of service a couple of years ago, except for wrinkling the paper with an outfeed roller that needed replacing. I have the replacement kit, I've just been too lazy to install it.

Comment here and [livejournal.com profile] jilara will pick it up at Grand Central Starport if you want it in a couple of days. Or just comment, if you want to make snide comments about how slow and expensive the LJ4 was. Or how much older it is than your kids. Go ahead, we were well thought-of in our day.

Actually, I just want to say that the used one I picked up some years back has been *fabulous*. Totally worth the cost, for me. So I hope someone in your area snags it and loves it! :}

I have _two_ used Laserjet 4 network printers that I picked up some years back at garage sales, and they, too, have been fabulous, and I think well of them all the time. I used to have three, but I traded one for a wireless router....

I have about 10 toners at work for that printer (which I really need to get rid of since the last LJ 4 at the office finally died.) Unfortunately, I am on the east coast and the printer is on the west cost. NOT cost effective to get. :(

It's funny, I was just muttering recently about how great the old Laserjets were, and I also used to work on them. And was muttering about how it would be great to have one. So I guess I must have anticipated that one was going to be looking for a home...
